The InterContinental Melbourne - The Rialto

Construction commenced in late 2007 on a major redevelopment of the heritage
listed Rialto Hotel. Located adjacent to Rialto Towers, this landmark building is set
to become a first class international standard, 253 room InterContinental branded hotel.


Eureka Funds Management, in it’s capacity as owner, has appointed Equiset, a Grollo Group company, to redevelop the hotel and create an interface with it and the forecourt of Rialto Towers (jointly owned by Grollo Australia and St Martins Properties Australia). This will take the form of open linkages to the Rialto forecourt and a strip of fine dining restaurants.

As builder (design and construction) of this $45 million heritage restoration and refurbishment project, Equiset’s involvement will convert the current building into a world class hotel.

Located on Collins Street, the hotel is only
a short walk to Southern Cross Station and provides direct access to Docklands as well as many of Melbourne’s famed cafes, bars and restaurants.
