To provide informed solutions that meet the University's needs,
Equiset undertook a study of the campus, identifying various building envelopes,
possible property acquisitions and an overall campus development plan.
The result is an outstanding design that provides state of the art facilities
for this internationally renowned university.
A critical part of the development strategy was to demonstrate to the university
that their available land at the campus was too valuable to continue with low rise
building configurations. The building increased the University's usable floor
area on the campus by 40%.
This innovative project drew on new technologies that delivered cost and time
efficiencies and environmental advantages. The project was designed and documented
in 3D using an integrated building model for architecture, structure and building services.
